What Is Telehealth, and How Does It Work?

Telehealth just means seeing your doctor over a secure video call instead of in person. It’s not meant to replace every visit — if you need bloodwork, an X-ray, or a hands-on exam, we’ll still get you into the Hospitals. But for a big chunk of everyday care, a video visit gets you the same answer, faster.

Here’s how it works:

  2. Log in a few minutes early using the link we send to your phone or email — any device with a camera works.
  3. Talk with your provider about what’s going on, just like an in-person visit.
  4. Get your plan — that might be a prescription sent to your pharmacy, instructions to manage things at home, or a referral to come in for a hands-on exam if needed.

Most visits run about 15–20 minutes.
